Mothers in Mind: PhD Scholarship Opportunity
MAEVe are pleased to announce the following PhD scholarship opportunity:
Researching the effectiveness of mother-child group intervention in the aftermath of domestic and family violence.
The focus of this PhD is on a program to support the Mother Child Relationship where there has been domestic violence or other stressors on the relationship. We are looking for a high quality PhD candidate interested in evaluation, mother-child relationship, trauma informed work, domestic and family violence. The scholarship is an APA with top up funds and field work costs generously supported by the Children's Protection Society. The candidate will be supervised by Prof Cathy Humphreys (Department of Social Work) and Prof Kelsey Hegarty (Family Violence Prevention, The Royal Women's Hospital and Department of General Practice and Primary Care).
